How long does it take to organize a room with Crystal?
We get this question a lot, and the answer is... it depends! That said, check out this PDF that goes over different room types and how long they tend to take to organize!
Before & After
Bedrooms
This spare bedroom had lots of storage shelves, but they were inefficiently used. Crystal rearranged things so that similar items were placed together and moved the holiday decorations to a different part of the house where the rest of the decorations had been stored. Now this spare room is ready for company!
This fashionable teen had no place to work on her art, or put on her makeup and jewelry. The client and Crystal were able to repurpose inefficiently used furniture, and with the use of clear drawers and labels everywhere, effectively store all of the teen’s clothing and art supplies. As a result, the teen felt that she was able to make informed and thoughtful decisions about her clothes. She ended up donating several bags because now she could SEE it!
Living Rooms
This elderly client had amassed a lifetime of cards, letters, and personal documents.
Crystal first went through the stacks of paper and sorted everything into legal, medical, and financial documents, as well as mementos and photos. Then, one category at a time, Crystal made a stack of papers that could probably be trashed, another stack that probably should be shredded or destroyed, then another stack of paper that should probably be filed. The client’s work of deciding about each piece of paper was made easier by Crystal’s sorted suggestions.
Cabinets
This apartment-dwelling couple had no space for their office supplies, nor their awards and mementos. By finding the duplicates of objects and taking them to a donation center, Crystal was able to find the room to attractively display objects, while still making the office space functional.
Sometimes, the right tool will get the job done. This single parent of two middle-grade children had already purchased the bins and drawers that she needed, but needed help implementing them. Crystal was able to use the organizing tools to attractively contain all of the needed items. With the addition of labels everywhere, including on some of the cleaning bottles, this busy family will now be able to quickly find what they needed to get ready in the morning.
Stairs
This busy traveler had been feeling overwhelmed with back-to-back trips to different parts of the world.
Together, the client and Crystal sorted everything into categories of object type, as well as which room of the house different items belonged.
Then, after everything was sorted, they returned the lost items to their homes, one room at a time.
