Crystal got her organizational start helping her friends redo their rooms and classrooms, and quickly realized that helping people reorganize and declutter was something that she enjoyed. After extensive research and preparation, she founded Compassionate Decluttering, LLC in 2017.

 

Crystal is NOT a naturally organized person. She considers this something that makes her a better organizer, because she had to consciously learn (the hard way!) how to be organized. As a result, she is much better equipped on how to share and teach those skills to her clients.

Before working as an organizer, Crystal worked for a number of years in elementary schools.  She has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Special Education.  She loves learning about brain research, human behavior, and how emotions are expressed!
